The Kingston Tennis Club Clubhouse Restoration and Courts Project
Building together for the next 100 years
Join us in contributing to the final phase of the KTC Clubhouse Campaign!
With shovels first in the ground in the late fall of 2021, the entire redesign and restoration of our historic clubhouse is now complete. KTC celebrated the grand opening of its beautiful new facility at the Tennis Ball in July 2022. With more than 100 members in attendance, this gala under the stars was the ‘party of all parties’ and a momentous occasion in the almost 100-year history of our club.
The clubhouse restoration has preserved the look and feel of the old clubhouse while dramatically bringing it into the 21st century with innovative and modern upgrades and amenities, and with expanded indoor and outdoor spaces. Relocating the steward kiosk and club office down to the enlarged lower deck has opened up the second floor to create an airy, inviting space. Take a moment to watch this short video which tells the story of our 98-year old clubhouse.
With the tremendous support of members and friends, we raised almost $200,000 for the clubhouse campaign, making this by far the largest capital campaign in our club’s history.
But the work is not yet finished. Please consider donating to the final phase of the campaign as we look ahead to the repair and painting of the adjacent courts to the clubhouse (spring, 2023) and the refurbishing (interior and exterior furnishings) of our brand-new home.
With your help, we will ensure that KTC continues to offer top notch facilities for the enjoyment of our members, whether gathering with friends to socialize or out on the courts!
We invite you to donate now and be part of KTC’s vibrant future!
As you consider your gift, please remember the following:
-
You will receive a tax receipt for your donation and can spread your donation with payments over two years.
-
Your Board of Directors has unanimously and resoundingly committed to this project, with a combined gift of $28,000.
-
You will be part of a special group of KTC members and friends, securing our strong and vibrant future, and paying it forward to the generations of tennis players who follow!
